God's Perfect Foods
Do you know that good health is not the result of chance?  Just as all science is governed by laws, so   there are laws that govern your state of health.  Eight natural laws are given to every human being to prevent diseases, attack diseases, and recover from diseases. They are simple and accessible to everyone.  To help you remember, read the following   acronym:  N.E.W.  S.T.A.R.T, and try to memorize it.  It stand for NUTRITION, EXERCISE, WATER, SUNLIGHT, TEMPERANCE, AIR, REST, TRUST IN GOD.

God’s plan for nutrition is outlined in the first book of the Bible.  In Genesis 1:29 God prescribed “Every herb bearing seed…and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed, to you it shall be for meat.  Today we would say this original diet consisted of fruits, nuts and grains.  After the Fall of Man, leafy greens and herbs and other vegetables were added to man’s diet.   

Who does not know that exercise:
* Builds muscles, increasing their blood supply, their power, their efficiency and their endurance
* Improves circulation of blood throughout the entire system
* Controls body weight
* Increases the efficiency of heart and lungs
 * Promotes a feeling of zest and well being and so much more?

65% of the body is composed of water.  It supplies building material, regulates the body processes, makes up the principal part of all body fluids and secretions and helps make it possible for the body to regulate its own temperature.

SUNLIGHT:  What can sunlight do for you?  You can use it to treat bacterial infections; it enhances and increases the body’s immune system, lowers high blood pressure, decreases blood cholesterol, lowers excessively high blood sugar and increases blood cells.

The sun has been known to warm your moods, decrease depression, and stimulate endorphins in your bloodstream.

TEMPERANCE:   We can over work just as easy as we can over eat; we can over sleep, over exercise, over sunbathe, over drink.   The principle to follow is moderation.  “And every man that strives for the mastery is temperate in all things”. 1 Corinthians 9:25.

AIR:  Fresh, clean air with high negative ions is able to purify, destroy or render inactive bacteria, viruses, and other harmful substances. Practicing deep breathing will fill lungs with oxygen and will purify the blood.   Heavily polluted air impairs health.

There is nothing like breathing fresh country air. Think of the smell of breakfast cooking on a wood burning stove on a cold winter morning with three feet of snow all around your house.
